  • Delivery model: digital
  • License model: perpetual
  • Bug-fix and security-fix updates for the supported purchased release line
  • Support channel: support@vhdl2sv.com
  • No free trial by default

Important commercial note

Major-version rights must be explicit.

The commercial policy draft is clear that entitlement to future major versions should be stated in the applicable quote, checkout terms, invoice, or order confirmation rather than assumed.

During the initial launch phase, quote confirmation through sales@vhdl2sv.com is the safest path.

Hosted Usage Placeholder

Estimate translation tokens from an uploaded VHDL file without using character length.

This browser-side placeholder is meant for the future hosted service, where usage or quotas could be tied to lexical translation tokens instead of raw file size. It counts keywords, identifiers, literals, punctuation, and preserved translate directives.

  • Runs locally in the browser. The file is not uploaded to the server by this placeholder.
  • Ordinary comments are ignored.
  • `translate_off` and `translate_on` directives, including `pragma`, `synthesis`, `synopsys`, and `xilinx` forms, are still counted.

Token Estimator

Upload a source file

Use this as a planning baseline for future hosted usage, not as a final billing contract.

Launch posture

Manual sales first, self-serve later if the administrative path is finalized.

The repository business checklist recommends publishing the site first and using direct sales contact or request-access workflows before enabling a fully automated checkout flow.
